Our Longhorn Herd

Our goal at Dragon Ranch is to bring true Texas Longhorns to Colorado, focusing on conformation, horn and hide. We have a true passion for these beautiful animals and are hoping to inspire others to experience their majesty.

“Rev”

Rev is a gorgeous young bull out of the famous 20 Gauge! He’s already matching his dad TTT and we can’t wait to see what he produces. He has a very gentle nature and very curious about the world. We expect great things from him!

Horns Pedigree

”Kay”

Kay is a beautiful Brindle cow already measuring 80”TTT. She just gave us a wonderful heifer calf out of Bodacious. One of the best moms we have and a real show stopper. Anyone who visits is always in awe of her.

”Freaky Alice”

Alice just might be our favorite cow. You have to earn her trust and even with it, she always seems to be glaring at you. She has the best RBF! Her double twist is iconic and we hope to add more of it to our herd.

“Blue”

Blue is absolutely stunning! You can’t help but notice her beautiful calico/brindle markings and her 80”TTT horns. We are excited to breed her to Rev next year after we patiently wait for her current calf due in October!

“Misty”

We are excited to have acquired Misty from the Legendary Lana Hightower at G&L Longhorns. We can’t wait to pair her with Rev. And even better, her heifer calf born in February is already showing extremely promising conformation!! Photos of her coming soon!

Annie

Annie was one of our original longhorns we purchased in 2021. We ended up selling the herd as they were not registered. As we got back into longhorns to focus on pedigree, conformation, and horns, we decided we missed Annie to much. So we bought her back! While away from us she was bred to a Highlander Bull. Her two sweet steer calves came with her. Peter Parker and her newest just born in June.

Nymeria

Nymeria is a beautiful heifer calf born last year from Misty. We expect great things from her. Look for her in upcoming furturities!!! We can’t wait to breed her to Rev!

Arya

Meet Arya, a delightful calf from Kay, inspired by the epic tales of Game of Thrones and House of Dragons. This year, she will be bred to Rev, and we are eagerly anticipating the remarkable calves that will follow. Stay tuned for the exciting journey ahead as we continue to celebrate this theme in our herd

Benjen

A promising bull calf out of Blue, born in November2025, who will be available for sale this year. With PCC Blackjack as his sire, he shows exceptional potential and is expected to make a great herd sire. Don't miss the opportunity to add this outstanding genetics to your breeding program!
